Pilgrimage, Faith, and Life
As people’s lives fade away into busyness and isolation, you long for something more. A better story. A new way. But how is that possible?
By walking the path of story you will become aware of the narratives that are shaping your life, along with nourishing stories that are deeply rooted in your heart. Along this way you step into a holy retelling of your story. This unfolds through the practices of pilgrimage that invite us into the stories of scripture, of places, and of other people. As we engage with these narratives, walk and pray alone and with companions, and take steps along this life path with expectancy, God’s good story begins to inhabit our being. This good story celebrates life in all its beauty and goodness, heals our souls, and creates community as we become more deeply rooted in God’s love together.
This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” - Jeremiah 6:16
